In the Health Science program at Mount Pleasant High School, students begin learning how to take blood pressure and vital signs during their sophomore year. Blood pressure is a complicated skill that takes a lot of practice to master. In these photos, junior students are practicing to become competent in this skill. These students attend clinical rotations at Titus Regional Medical Center and in clinics in our community. The students receive training in HIPAA, vital signs, and CPR.

ZSpace is a new technology that utilizes 3D graphics to enhance the education we offer in Health Science and Anatomy. Pre-lab dissections give students a real-world opportunity to view the body’s inner workings. On Friday, students and administrators were able to view various parts of the body using ZSpace 3D technology.
