The Texas Girls Coaches Association (TGCA) Spirit division recognized Mount Pleasant High School senior, Madison Hargrove, as a member of the Spirit division Academic All-State team. She was nominated by her coach for having an overall GPA of 94 or above from grades 9-11.

Hargrove has been a cheerleader in MPISD for six years, serving as a JV Captain as a freshman and a Varsity Captain as a senior. She will attend Northeast Texas Community College in the fall, seeking to be a Registered Nurse, then plans to transfer and pursue a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing degree. She is the daughter of Justin and Kay Hargrove.
