MPHS Angler Qualifies for State Tournament
Three Mount Pleasant High School boats competed at the Texas High School Bass Association (THSBA) Regional tournament on Lake Palestine on Saturday, April 26 with all three reeling in catches. Anglers in 212 boats were competing for the chance to go to the State tournament at the end of April.
Logan Holderness caught 4 fish weighing 11.78 lbs. and placed 33rd out of 212 boats to secure his spot at state.
Kamen and Khloe Dunn placed 68th with 3 fish weighing 8.65 lbs. The team of Hayden Harvill and Joe Setina finished in 154th place with 1 fish weighing 2.83 lbs.
Holderness will fish in the State tournament at Lake Conroe on May 31st. His Boat Captain is his dad, Danny Holderness.
