The combined Classes of 2023 from Mount Pleasant and Chapel Hill High Schools were honored at the Mount Pleasant Community Baccalaureate Service on Wednesday, May 17 at First Baptist Church. Mount Pleasant High School Valedictorian, Ethan Harbour, offered an opening prayer for the graduates while MPISD Superintendent, Judd Marshall, and CHISD Superintendent, Daniel Pritchett, welcomed the guests and congratulated the seniors on their accomplishments.

Dr. Clint Davis, pastor of First Baptist Church, brought the main message of the evening titled “Our Investment Report” reminding the graduates that they have choices in how they will invest their lives.

The graduates each received a bible from their respective high school principals. Chapel Hill Valedictorian, Kendall Hensley, prayed a closing prayer of blessing on all the attendees. The program ended with a special song, “I Can Make a Difference”, by members of the combined MPHS and CHHS choirs.
