The 2018 Lady Tigers softball team clinched a playoff spot for the fifth year in a row with a 4-0 win over Marshall Monday night.

They followed that up by securing at least the third place spot with a 6-0 shutout of Texas High on Senior Night at Lady Tiger Field last night.

Following back-to-back shutouts, the Lady Tigers are 19-7 on the year and 8-3 in district play with a final road game at Sulphur Springs on
Friday to complete the regular season.

Playoff information is to be determined.

Members of the 2018 team include: Seniors: Blakely Cheek, Kamille Gill, Lauren Lesher, Brooke Smallwood, Molli Dorsey; Juniors: Averie Ayers, Jordan Dickerson, Pinky Green;  Sophomores: Maggie Lilly, Danielle Merriman, Valoree McElhaney, Natalie Howard; Freshman: Bre’Asia Hargrave, Carson Zachry and Jalissa Alavarez.
