Thirteen seniors and seventy-five juniors were inducted into the Mount Pleasant High School chapter of the National Honor Society (NHS) during a special ceremony on Monday, October 19 in the Mount Pleasant High School Auditorium. The new members join the fifty-six returning senior members of the chapter bringing the total membership to 144.

To be inducted into NHS, a student must have earned a weighted cumulative GPA of 5.10 and must meet certain service and character standards, exemplified in behavior and personal conduct both on and off campus. The NHS inducts students who meet the criteria in their junior or senior year during the fall semester.

Officers of the 2026-2027 MPHS Chapter are President Dalia Balderas, Vice President Isaac Hernandez, Secretary Luke Brown, Treasurer Bowdrie Priefert, Parliamentarian Adriel Bagsic, and Historian Makayla Mather.
