Congratulations to the 2026 Roque “Rocky” E. Villarreal Memorial Scholarship recipient, MPHS senior Alberto Avila.

The Roque “Rocky” E. Villarreal Memorial Scholarship is a scholarship intended for a Mount Pleasant High School senior athlete. “Having the opportunity to establish and award a scholarship in honor of Rocky is a privilege that has brought our family a profound sense of peace and purpose. We are humbled by the chance to support the next generation of leaders, thinkers, and builders.”
