The Mount Pleasant High School Tiger and Lady Tiger track teams closed out their regular seasons on Tuesday, April 1 at the UIL 15-5A district meet at Whitehouse High School. The Tigers placed 6th as a team and qualified 9 athletes for the area meet in 5 events. The Lady Tigers placed 6th as a team and qualified 7 athletes for the area meet in 8 events.

Also placing in their events were Mary Beth Snyder 5th in 3200M, Miyah Amador-Farrier 6th in 300M hurdles, Vanessa Sampson 5th in discus, the team of BJ Brannon, Jermiah Johnson, Brandon McCoo, and Aidan Veasley 5th in 4×100 relay, Terrelle Beard 5th in 110M hurdles, DeCorian Thompson 5th in 200M, the team of DeCorian Thompson, Aidan Veasley, Shane Watkins, and Jayden Loewen 6th in 4×400 relay, AJ Johnson 5th in discus, and Ephram Vaseleck 6th in high jump.

The Area meet is Friday, April 11 at Anna High School.
