GT Parent Nominations 16-17
Parent nominations for MPISD’s gifted and talented program for students in grades kindergarten through four will be accepted September 19, 2016, through September 28, 2016. Parents may pick up nomination packets in the office at each campus beginning September 19, 2016. Packets should be returned to the school office no later than September 28, 2016.

Mae Lois White Named Tribune Teacher of the Year
Vivian Fowler Elementary School 4th grade teacher Mae Lois White has been named the Mt. Pleasant Daily Tribune Teacher of the Year. White was surprised by the announcement this morning during the Fowler morning assembly. American Legion Donates to Campuses
The Jessup/Reed Post 0210 of the American Legion donated $1,000 each to Annie Sims Elementary, E.C. Brice Elementary, Frances Corprew Elementary, Vivian Fowler Elementary and P.E.
