Wallace Middle School Holds 4th Annual Hispanic Heritage Night
Wallace Middle School held its fourth annual Hispanic Heritage Celebration on Thursday evening, October 9, to honor Hispanic Heritage Month that runs from September 15 to October 15. Teachers and organizations set up game booths such as a ring toss to win a 2-liter drink, Bingo, face painting, a dunking booth, and a cake walk. Food and drinks were available from Jorge’s, El Bajillo, Bello’s Chinese Food and More, and Chillz on Wheelz. The special education, art, music, and PE departments provided face painting. Blue Tax Services donated the teacher dunking booth. Mr. Tina Smith donated the inflatable bounce house for the young children. And parents and students donated candy, snacks, and 2-liter bottled drinks.
Wallace is commemorating Hispanic Heritage month through October 15 with hallway decorations and various classroom activities.
