MPJH Art Student Wins 2nd Overall in Contest
Mount Pleasant Junior High Art II students recently competed in the Lion's Club Peace Poster contest with the theme "Journey of Peace". Congratulations to Tisha Patel who placed 2nd overall among all the entries from Mount Pleasant, Harts Bluff, Chapel Hill, and homeschool. Great job to all who entered and their amazing teacher, Tania Lugo!
8th Grade Student Designs 2020 Yearbook Cover
Mount Pleasant ISD eighth grader Summer Murillo has been named the winner of the Mount Pleasant Junior High Yearbook Cover Design contest. Murillo’s artwork will be the cover of the 2019-2020 MPJH yearbook and she will receive a free yearbook as well.

MPJH Volleyball Takes Trip to Texas A&M-Commerce
This past Saturday our MPJH Volleyball Program traveled to Texas A&M University-Commerce for their 1st team trip of the year! We had an amazing time touring the campus, watching the Lady Lions win in 3 against TAMU International, and taking tons of pictures with the team. We cannot wait to come back during basketball season!
