Mount Pleasant High School senior Kylee Strickland placed 2nd at the Regional golf tournament, securing spot at 5A UIL State. Strickland will play in the UIL State Golf Tournament on May 4-5 in Georgetown, TX.

The 2026 Mount Pleasant High School Prom King and Queen, selected by the senior class, are King Corey Neal and Queen Jennifer Luna. The MPHS Prom was held at the Mount Pleasant Civic Center on Saturday, April 11 with the theme, “Masquerade Ball”.
