The Temple Masonic Lodge in Mount Pleasant has awarded scholarships to five graduating seniors from Mount Pleasant High School and one from Chapel Hill High School.  The Masons yearly award $500 scholarships to Mt. Pleasant High School and Chapel Hill High School seniors.

Alexis Amerson, Jace Beasley, Christina Kessler, Cassidy Russell and Dylan Shaw were the recipients from MPHS. Christine Calvert was the Chapel Hill recipient.
