MPHS students in the Fashion Design 1 program have officially begun their sewing journey — starting with the timeless art of hand embroidery!

After mastering basic stitches through a sampler exercise, students took on a creative challenge: designing their own personal monograms.

Each project was required to include:

-At least three hand embroidery stitches

-At least three distinct colors

-One decorative element of visual interest

These beautiful, personalized pieces showcase not only technical skill but also the creativity and individuality of each student. This is a great start to the beginning of their fashion design journey!
