Mount Pleasant High School Students Earn AP Scholar Awards
Four members of the Mount Pleasant High School Class of 2025 have earned AP Scholar awards from the College Board for demonstrating outstanding college-level achievement through their performance on multiple Advanced Placement (AP) Exams. Jose Gonzalez (Texas A&M) earned the AP Scholar designation, granted to students who receive scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP Exams. Gopi Amin (Rice University), Tanner Marshall (Texas A&M), and Luke Thurman (Baylor) were named AP Scholars with Honor, granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams.
