Two Mt. Pleasant High School 2015 graduates are the recipients of the Mt. Pleasant Electrical Trades scholarship.  The first recipient, Andy Sermeno, is attending Tyler Junior College this fall in the Power Plant Technology Program. The second recipient, Isidoro Hernandez, is attending Northeast Texas Community College this fall pursuing an electrical engineering degree.

The Mt. Pleasant Electrical Trades Scholarship committee members consist of Erman Hensel (EDH Electric, Inc.), Eddie Perriott (City of Mt. Pleasant), Jerry Freeman (AEP/SWEPCO), Jason Jetton (Elliott Electric), Thomas Harkey (Luminant), Tim Davis (Mt. Pleasant ISD).

Pleasant Electrical Trades Scholarship and the Committee members play a vital role in our Electrical Program.  The dedication and valuable contribution each member gives to our student’s is truly a blessing.  Mt.
