We are so excited for the 2024-2025 school year. We want parents and students to have a positive experience on our campus and around our teachers and staff members. We operate similar to one big, happy family and we want our visitors to feel welcome and special.

We strive to offer learning opportunities for all children to show growth and experience hands on activities. We focus on reaching out to “Every Child, Every Day” in order to build relationships among students and staff members. We connect with students through all aspects of their daily living. Our teachers center instruction around rich discussion and making connections to our students’ everyday lives. We provide a safe learning environment and encourage our students to be the very best version of themselves daily. Our staff members work diligently to help our Annie Sims children become successful Mt. Pleasant citizens.

Our Annie Sims pledge states:

“I pledge allegiance to Annie Sims to look, listen and learn in all that I do. To be on my best behavior at all times so I can model good citizenship. And above all, to do my very best each and every day.”

We have many opportunities for families and students to visit the school and attend several functions. We invite our community members to join us at our events throughout the year. Sims offers fun functions that include Sims Splash Bash, Grandparents’/Heroes’ lunch, Fall Fiesta, our annual Book Fair, Grade level musicals, holiday luncheons, Turtle Races, Talent Shows and Awards Ceremonies.
