Every year the Annie Sims Elementary School Parent Involvement Committee selects a local charity to receive a donation. This year, they chose the Mt. Pleasant ISD School Foundation.
The Mt. Pleasant Foundation awards grants to district teachers for innovative projects and other educational needs that are not covered by the campus budget.
“We thank the Sims Parent Involvement Committee for their generous donation to the Foundation,” said Executive Director Dr. Judith Saxton. “This donation, along with other donations, will allow the Foundation to award even more grants this Spring.”
