Mount Pleasant Independent School District campuses and offices will be closed for Thanksgiving Break from Monday, November 21 through Sunday, November 26. The Mt. Pleasant Fire Department recently visited E.C. Brice Elementary to speak to students about fire prevention.
The E.C. Brice Elementary School first grade invited Mt. Pleasant Mayor Dr. Paul Meriwether to come visit their classes on Sept. 29th. They have been studying community members and wanted to hear first-hand about the community and the role of the mayor in city government.
Parent nominations for MPISD’s gifted and talented program for students in grades kindergarten through four will be accepted September 19, 2016, through September 28, 2016. Parents may pick up nomination packets in the office at each campus beginning September 19, 2016. Packets should be returned to the school office no later than September 28, 2016.
