Wallace Middle School Outdoor Education\/Adventure Club and the Mt. Pleasant Boys and Girls Club banded together to build a wheelchair accessible garden bed.\u00a0 All the materials for the garden bed were donated by McCoy Building Supply and the soil was donated by Lowe&#8217;s.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe, at Wallace, would like to thank our local businesses for helping make this planter possible,\u201d said Wallace Assistant Principal Nathan Rider. \u201cOur students worked very hard to build this planter and did an outstanding job.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The garden on wheels is named the Wallace \u201cSalsa Garden\u201d as it is currently growing all the ingredients necessary for a great bowl of fresh salsa.<\/p>\n<p>Pictured:\u00a0 Some of the Wallace students and staff who built the garden bed are joined by McCoy\u2019s representative Nina Hensley (middle back row).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The P.E.
