Mount Pleasant Junior High School took 60 7th and 8th graders to the recent District 16-5A Middle School UIL Academic Meet and brought home multiple medals and ribbons. The 7th graders placed in 10 events while the 8th graders placed in 11.<\/p>\n
The 7th grade Art Team of Krystelle Alipao, Brian Bush and Adrian Garcia placed 2nd at the Meet. The 7th grade Music Memory Team of Vanessa Buendia, Joshua Espinoza and Holly Reese also placed 2nd. The 7th grade Science team of Miguel Del Carmen, Jocelynn Ponce and Dolfus Sandoval took 3rd place.<\/p>\n
The 8th grade Maps, Charts and Graphs team of Gavin Rider, Nic Segovia and Brock Shavers took 1st place while the 8th grade Art team of Reese Loving, Lesley Ortiz and Sashi Poudel placed 2nd.<\/p>\n
