{"id":2027,"date":"2019-06-18T12:55:54","date_gmt":"2019-06-18T17:55:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.mpisd.net\/mpjhs\/?p=2027"},"modified":"2019-06-18T12:55:54","modified_gmt":"2019-06-18T17:55:54","slug":"mount-pleasant-junior-high-school-bands-earn-high-ratings","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mpisd.net\/mpjhs\/2019\/06\/18\/mount-pleasant-junior-high-school-bands-earn-high-ratings\/","title":{"rendered":"Mount Pleasant Junior High School Bands Earn High Ratings"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"post-content\">\n<p>The Mount Pleasant Junior High School Symphonic Band and Honors Band competed in Concert and Sight-Reading contest in Pleasant Grove on April 4, 2019.<\/p>\n<p>The Symphonic Band, made up mostly of 7th grade band students, received a superior rating (1st division) for their stage performance, receiving straight 1\u2019s.\u00a0 They also received an excellent rating (2nd division) for their sight-reading performance.\u00a0 The Symphonic Band is directed by Alicia Hargett.<\/p>\n<p>The Honors Band, made up of 8th grade band students, received a superior rating (1st division) for their sight-reading performance, receiving straight 1\u2019s. They also received an excellent rating (2nd division) for their stage performance.
