Though women were forbidden from borrowing money without their husband\u2019s consent, Nora arranges a loan and takes her husband to a warmer climate so he can recover from his illness. When circumstances turn on her and she is confronted with the reality that her secret will be revealed, she must choose between two paths. She can continue to be treated like a child that can do nothing for herself or she can assert herself as a fully capable human being. The ending of the play shocked its audience in 1879 and it continues to shock its audience every time is produced.<\/h3>\n<h3>The cast for A Doll\u2019s House includes Madison Zepeda as Nora. Roberto Castellano portrays her husband Torvald. Pearl Murillo plays Nora\u2019s friend Christine. Dr. Rank is portrayed by Garrett Evans and Keven Mendoza has the role of Krogstad, Nora\u2019s creditor. Rounding out the cast is Ashanti Presley as Helen.<\/h3>\n<h3>A Doll\u2019s House will be presented at 6:30 PM on Tuesday, October 26 and Thursday, October 28 in the Theatre of the Mount Pleasant High School Performing Arts Center.
