The Mount Pleasant tennis team had their first dual match of the season at Sulphur Springs on Tuesday. For many of the players, it was their first competition in several months as they looked to knock the rust off and get back into form despite the sweltering heat. The players competed in both doubles and singles matches with each player playing at two matches. The Tigers and Lady Tigers are scheduled to play at Hallsville on Tuesday, August 31 with the match starting at 3:30 PM. The tennis program is led by head coach Judy Coffey and assistant Brian Williams.<\/p>\n
