They were evaluated on a band chant, crowd leading, and a fight song performance.<\/p>\n<p>After the preliminary rounds, MPHS advanced as a Top 20 Finalist out of a field of 42 teams in their division. Their finals performance earned them a 16th place finish.<\/p>\n<p>The 2021 Top 20 placement marks the 3rd time MPHS cheer has finished among the best 5A cheer squads in the state.
