Junior Dani Bernal finished 3rd, Junior Anthony Preciado finished 4th and Sophomore Maritza Zambrano finished 6th.<\/p>\n<p>Sophomore Aslin Barrientos was awarded Top Presiding Officer.<\/p>\n<p>By placing 3rd, Bernal earned a trip to the State Congressional Debate Tournament in January.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis was a great showing for our team,\u201d said Debate Coach and MPHS teacher Cody Morris. \u201cWe are a young team and to have Dani qualify for State in this event is great.
