Mount Pleasant High School held its annual Football Awards Banquet Thursday, February 11 at the Mt. Pleasant Civic Center. Members of the Freshmen, JV and Varsity teams were recognized for their participation during the 2015 season.<\/p>\n

Freshman and Junior Varsity Player of the Year Awards were presented to Josh Miller (Freshman) and Juan Otino (JV).<\/p>\n

Varsity Superlative Awards were presented to:<\/p>\n

Ethan Duck \u2013 Defensive Lineman of the year
\nThomas Spann \u2013 Offensive Lineman of the Year
\nJevonny Lira \u2013 Defensive Back of the Year
\nJace Beasley \u2013 Offensive Back of the Year
\nZak Dean \u2013 Linebacker of the Year
\nKevin Perez \u2013 Receiver of the Year
\nSammy Puente \u2013 Special Teams Player of the Year
\nAndrew Turner \u2013 Most Improved Player
\nAlejandro Rios \u2013 Built Tiger Tough Player of the Year
\nTravion Holloman \u2013 Most Valuable Player of the Year<\/p>\n

JV Head Coach Matt Smith also honored Tara West for her work filming JV team practices.<\/p>\n

Head Coach Corey Homer also honored team manager Jakerry Fulmer.<\/p>\n<\/div>
