The intent of an \u201cangel\u201d tournament is to help inexperienced debaters learn what to do at their first tournament. Each team is to have one \u201cangel\u201d (experienced debater) with them for all their rounds. Angels can be Varsity debaters, graduates, or a coach.<\/h3>\n<h3>In Persuasive Extemporaneous Speaking, Raif Fielder placed 1st. And in Prose, Kaytlynn Sims placed 6th. Other beginning team members participated in their first rounds of CX and Lincoln-Douglas debate, Informative and Persuasive Extemporaneous Speaking, Prose, and Poetry.<\/h3>\n<h3>MP Speech and Debate\u2019s next tournament is at the Melissa UIL Fall Classic on October 10.
