Principal Challenge arrived on her desk, Frances Corprew Elementary School Principal Estelle Deloney accepted it immediately. The challenge? To read to students one entire school day from the first bell to the last.<\/p>\n<p>So on Thursday, November 10, Deloney cleared her calendar and spent the day in her office reading to students from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI read my heart out today,\u201d Deloney said at the end of the day. \u201cBut it was for a great cause \u2013 to set an example for my students that reading is important.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Principal\u2019s Challenge is issued yearly in recognition of National Young Readers Week (November 7-11).
