This is a week dedicated to doing kind acts for others. It is a proactive and positive bullying prevention initiative that improves school climate and increases student engagement. Each child is provided a checklist of 50 kind acts and encouraged to complete as many acts as possible during the week.<\/p>\n<p>To help encourage students to complete acts of kindness, the Corprew National Elementary Honor Society members are hosting a \u201cKindness Station\u201d each morning throughout the week. At the kindness station, students are provided materials to complete a variety of kind deeds on the checklist. Some of these include making a kindness poster, creating a thank you for cafeteria staff, writing an encouraging note to a friend or family member, or handing out hearts with positive words on them. I have included some pictures of this morning\u2019s event.<\/p>\n<p>In conjunction with The Great Kindness Challenge Week, NEHS is also hosting a clothes\/coat drive.
