Brice Inducts New Members into NEHS"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Twenty-two E.C. Brice Elementary School 4th graders became members of the National Elementary Honor Society (NEHS) as the Brice chapter held their induction ceremony on Tuesday, October 20 in the Brice gym. NEHS recognizes 4th grade students for their outstanding academic achievement and demonstrated personal responsibility. The organization seeks to provide meaningful service activities for students to both the school and the community and to develop essential leadership skills in elementary school students.<\/h3>\n<h3>Brice Principal, Amanda Jones, and new NEHS President, Alan Munoz, welcomed the guests in attendance. New member Itzayana Rodriguez led the pledges to the American and Texas flags. New member Victoria Leroy led the invocation. Mount Pleasant High School senior and MPHS National Honor Society Treasurer, Bowdrie Priefert, was the guest speaker for the event. The chapter officers, President Alan Munoz, Vice-President Tinley Heeren, Secretary Vivian Bradshaw, and Treasurer Marleigh Davis explained the criteria for membership and the four characteristics of an NEHS member. And Brice NEHS Advisor, Chelsea Loftin, introduced each new member as they walked across the stage to receive their certificate from Jones.<\/h3>\n<h3>The E.C. Brice Elementary School NEHS Inductees for 2026-2027 are Emma Arroyo, Vivian Bradshaw, Juliette Cardona, Jace Cochran, Violet Cole, Marleigh Davis, Ian Dominguez, Camila Escamilla, Amon Evans, Hellen Flores, Yadiel Gaitan, Grace Gutierrez, Lenny Hamilton, Tinley Heeren, Victoria Leroy, Nathaniel Mora, Alan Munoz, Miguel Munoz, Itzayana Rodriguez, Jozaiyah Sanchez, Georgia Snyder, and Antony Vienes.<\/h3>\n<h3>Photo: The new members of the E.C.
