P.E. Wallace Middle School took eight students to the Region 8 Education Service Science Fair last week.

Fifth graders Hannah Anderson, Ali Fair Cheek, Ella Cross and Lolita Solis entered projects to compete against fifth graders from across the region.

Sixth graders Reese Ball, Ava Bliss, Gracie McClendon and Eli Rider entered projects and competed against 6th graders from Region 8 school districts. Reese Ball placed 3rd out of all 6th graders entered in the Fair.

“These students did a great job representing P E. Wallace and Mt. Pleasant ISD,” said Wallace Principal James Gibson. “It takes a lot of work to put together a Science Fair project. These students should be congratulated for making the effort. Their sponsor Susan Gage also put in many hours helping them get ready. I thank her for caring so much for our students.”
