D.A.E.P.

Q: What does D.A.E.P. stand for? 

A: DISCIPLINE ALTERNATIVE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM:
Students enrolled in the Discipline Alternative Educational Placement (D.A.E.P.) are
prohibited to be on ANY MPISD property, other than the D.A.E.P. campus. Law prohibits these students from riding any district transportation. They are prohibited from representing the district in ANY extra or co-curricular capacity and are prohibited from participating in, or attending, any extracurricular or co-curricular activity ON or OFF district property. Violation of these rules will lead to arrest for trespassing and are considered grounds for expulsion.


VISITORS:

Parents and/ or guardians may not visit with out an appointment.  Students, Animals and/or small children are not allowed as visitors.  Questions, please call (903) 575-2095


COUNSELING:
The D.A.E.P provides many important levels of counseling for all students. They can
request a counselor at any time needed. Also student’s transcripts and behaviors will be mentored and monitored on a daily basis.

D.A.E.P.'S GRADING SCALE:

90 - 100 = A, 80 - 89 = B, 70 - 79 = C, 69 & below = F (FAILING)
