CORPREW LIBRARY - Cindy Hatfield, Corprew Librarian.

The Corprew Library has a collection of over 10,000 books. Students come to the library at least once a week. Accelerated Reader is a popular reading program. Students read selected books and take a short objective computer test. Students earn points based on the score they achieve on each test. These points can be used for extra treats such as free books, movie passes, becoming principal for the day, and the most popular principal challenge. When a student earns 110 points, they can challenge the principal into doing outlandish things. What a sport! Another popular activity during the year is the bookmark contest (students design bookmarks and the winning designs are printed and distributed to Corprew students). All students enjoy voting for their favorite book and seeing if their favorite makes it on the Corprew's Top Ten Favorite Book List. Library games are played on a regular basis to improve knowledge of the library. The Corprew library always has something exciting going on.
