Even Start
Parenting Class
Parenting classes are one of the required components of the Even Start Family Literacy Program.
In these parenting classes, parent's are taught such
things as child safety, nutritional values, and the importance
of their children's education and attendance in school. They are
also encouraged to read to their children at home or have their
children read to them. Even Start has a small library that includes
a variety of books for the parents to check out.
