High School At-Risk
Alternative Education Campus of Choice is designed for high school students who are at-risk of dropping out of school. Students must first be enrolled at Mt. Pleasant High School, be referred by a counselor, and go through an interview process with Sally Conroy, Principal at CLC. Upon approval, the student completes credits on the A+ program and PLATO program at a self-paced rate. Upon passing all portions of TAKS and completing all course requirements, students are awarded a high school diploma and may participate in the high school graduation exercise at the end of the school year.
