Corprew Earns Three Gold Performance Awards
Commended Performance
Corprew Elementary School received three TEA Gold Performance Awards for 2008-2009. Corprew was recognized for Commended Performance in Reading/ELA, in Math and in Writing.
"For a school to receive a commended performance in an area tested on a TAKS Test, at least 30 percent of students on the campus in five different groups had to score at the commended level on the TAKS tests, an increase from 25 percent last year" Regina Conroy, MPISD Deputy Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction. “For a campus to receive this award in three subject areas is quite an accomplishment.”
