Cookies for Courage
Community Service Project of MPJH Student Council
On Friday, February 13, 2009, the
Mount Pleasant Junior High Student Council delivered homemade
cookies to the local police, fire, and paramedic departments. The
students wanted to show how much they appreciated the work these
local heroes do to keep our city and schools safe. Student council
representatives selected to deliver the cookies were Iesha Jackson,
Garrett McBride, Joanne Garcia, Emily Peacock, Andrew Flanagan, and
Skylar Morgan. Student Council sponsors are Holly Lewis, Becca
McFarlin, and Karen Stayton.
