MPHS Students Create Bark Art
The Mount Pleasant High School Spanish 2 Bilingual classes taught by Maryna Svirska-Otero have been studying about Guatemala for the past several weeks. As part of the cultural study, the students made bark paintings imitating the indigenous form of art of the Mayans. The works of art are exhibited in the hallway of the Foreign Languages department at MPHS.
