MPHS AP Scholars
Eight former and current Mount Pleasant
High School students have been named AP Scholars. To earn the
designation of AP Scholar, a student has to receive a grade of 3 or
4 (out of a possible 4) on three or more Advanced Placement
exams.
"AP exams are college level tests and to
score a 90% or 100% on one is hard enough," said MPHS Principal
David Davis. "To do this on three or more exams is not an easy
thing to do. We are extremely proud of these students. Their
achievement speaks highly of the quality of education they are
getting here."
The MPHS AP Scholars are current students
Anna Eckstein and Alfredo Tellez-Giron and 2008 graduates Robert
Farr, Jaynee Guest, Mario Lucio, Matthew Pearson, Clara Ramirez and
Jennifer Traylor.
