MPHS Art Students Earn Perfect Scores at State

     Two Mount Pleasant High School Art students took their artwork to the state Visual Art Scholastic Event (VASE) at the University of Houston-Clear Lake. And both brought home top scores.

 earned a perfect score of 4 in competition against work by other high school art students from across the state of Texas.
    "This is the sixth year that MPHS has had students advance to the state level in the Visual Arts Scholastic Event and the sixth year that we have had students earn perfect scores at state," said MPHS art teacher Gerald Boyd. "This just affirms how talented our Mount Pleasant students are and how hard they are willing to work. I am extremely proud of both Keziah and Pedro."
