Wallace Partners with McCoy’s, Lowe’s to Build Garden Bed

The P.E. Wallace Middle School Outdoor Education/Adventure Club and the Mt. Pleasant Boys and Girls Club banded together to build a wheelchair accessible garden bed.  All the materials for the garden bed were donated by McCoy Building Supply and the soil was donated by Lowe’s.

“We, at Wallace, would like to thank our local businesses for helping make this planter possible,” said Wallace Assistant Principal Nathan Rider. “Our students worked very hard to build this planter and did an outstanding job.”

The garden on wheels is named the Wallace “Salsa Garden” as it is currently growing all the ingredients necessary for a great bowl of fresh salsa.
