The Mount Pleasant High School Officers returned this week from American Drill Team School and Encore Creative Productions in Dallas and they brought with them a lot of ribbons, certificates and trophies.

“We had a very successful camp,” said Tiger Doll Director Deidra Wood. “I’m so proud of what the girls accomplished.”

The Tiger Doll Officers were named Grand Champion Officer Squad, received the Outstanding Home Routine Award, the Superior Gold Star Performance for a routine learned at camp, the Superior Gold Star Performance for the creative choreography assignment and The Perfect Ten Award for Outstanding Precision within the Officer Squad. The Tiger Doll Officers are Captain Madison Blalock, Jr. Lt. Abigail Amerson, Jr. Lt. Zannah Hutchings, Jr. Lt. Rachel Sharp and Jr. Lt. Payton Tyler.

The Tiger Doll Sergeants, Ashley Blalock, Harper Davis, and Maritza Quinones, also brought back numerous awards. They were named All American Team of the Day, Grand Champion Social Officers and Superior Social Officer Squad. They received a Superior Project Rating, Most Creative Team Project, Grand Champion Social Officer Project, and an Award for Outstanding Attitude and Discipline.

Individual Tiger Dolls also brought home awards. Madison Blalock and Payton Tyler were named All American Dancer and Outstanding Performer American Drill Team School Dance Company. Blalock and Harper Davis received awards for Outstanding Performer and Outstanding Leadership. Zannah Hutchins was named All American Honorable Mention. The Kick Company of Abigail Amerson, Madison Blalock and Zannah Hutchings were named Top 20 Kickers out of a total 167.  The Tiger Dolls will kick-off the 2016-2017 season with a performance at the August 26 Tigers football game at North Forney.
