Mount Pleasant High School Senior Nathon Segovia had the opportunity to participate in the Weekend Immersion in Science and Engineering program (WISE) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) September 17-19. Segovia joined high school seniors from across the United States at MIT.
During WISE, Segovia attended classes, toured the campus, met MIT professors and visited labs on campus. He stayed with a current MIT student and attended workshops that gave him a glimpse of what life at MIT is really like.
Nathon is the son of Jose and Jehovana Segovia.
