MPISD Schools to Release Early On May 25th

Mount Pleasant ISD schools will release early on Thursday, May 25, the last day of classes for the 2016-2017 school year. Schools will release and buses will run on the following schedule:

Wallace Partners with McCoy’s, Lowe’s to Build Garden Bed

The P.E. Wallace Middle School Outdoor Education/Adventure Club and the Mt. Pleasant Boys and Girls Club banded together to build a wheelchair accessible garden bed.  All the materials for the garden bed were donated by McCoy Building Supply and the soil was donated by Lowe’s.

Print Works Donation to Mt. Pleasant ISD

Print Works of Paris and Mt. Pleasant presented a check for $11,448.00 to Mt. Pleasant ISD representing the proceeds from the sale of the “MP Strong” T-shirts. The shirts were designed and sold by Print Works to benefit MPHS students and coaches involved in the MPHS track team bus accident in March.

Titus County Shared Services Association held their annual Track and Field Special Olympics Thursday, April 27 at MPISD’s Sam Parker Field on a sunshine filled day, so unlike last year when inclement weather forced the event indoors.
