Judd Marshall Named Region 8 Superintendent of the Year

Region 8 Education Service Center has announced that Judd Marshall, Superintendent of the Mt. MPJHS 8th Grader Earns Presidential Volunteer Award

Mackenzie Lide, an incoming 8th grader at Mount Pleasant Junior High school, has earned a Bronze Presidential Volunteer Service Award. Lide, the daughter of Mike and Jennifer Lide, received the award for completing 74 volunteer hours during the past 12 months.

MPJHS Students Qualify for Duke Talent Identification Program

Eighteen Mount Pleasant Junior High School 7th Grade students were invited to participate in the Duke University Talent Identification Program (TIP) and took either the ACT or the SAT, both college-entrance exams. Three students chose to take the SAT while fifteen took the ACT.
