MPHS Sweeps District CX Debate Tournament

The Mount Pleasant High School Speech and Debate Team went to the District UIL Cross Examination Debate Tournament on Thursday, February 1 with one purpose in mind – to qualify for the State Meet in March.

MPHS UIL Academic Team Takes Top Place at Meet

The Mount Pleasant High School UIL Academic Team did it again. They beat out 33 other schools to take first place in the recent MPHS-hosted UIL Academic Meet.  MPHS earned 477 points beating rival Sulphur Springs by 170 points.

Parent Night for Incoming Freshmen to be Held Tuesday, Feb. 13

Parent Night for 8th grade students will be held on Tuesday, February 13 at 5:30pm in the MPJH Gym.  The High School Counselors will be present to speak with parents about high school schedules and degree plans.  Pizza will be provided by CIS.
